Radios are a lifesaving tool during emergencies. Students will learn how to use and properly operate common ham radios and walkie-talkies during normal and emergency situations. Topics covered are radio wave theory, safety, operating procedures, radio programming, power & antenna options, and communication protocols. The course will give detailed instructions on operating the commonly used Baofeng brand of amateur radios. Help with radio programming will be provided during the practical demonstration.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT: None but students can bring a personal radio for programming
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If the class is canceled by Bishop 30 Solutions, the full amount of purchase is REFUNDABLE. Or, the funds can be CREDITED and applied toward a future class.
If the course is canceled by the student 72 hours before the training day, the full payment is REFUNDABLE or can be CREDITED and applied toward the same class held at a later date or another class.
If the course is canceled by the student within 48 hours before the training day, the full payment is NON-REFUNDABLE but can be CREDITED and applied toward the same class held at a later date or another class.
“No shows” FORFEIT their registration fees.
All REFUNDS will be processed within approximately 10-14 days.
Classes will be held rain or shine unless postponed by Bishop 30 Solutions. Bishop 30 Solutions will notify (by e-mail) all enrolled students as soon as possible if any changes are made to class dates.

I have converted the American Contingency Northeast Alabama Locals Community to a subscription community meaning that in order to see premium posts and post comments you must be a supporter, just like how the American Contingency and Fieldcraft Survival communities are set up.
